The Elite Federation Of Grapplers Circuit will function off of a point system. All first place winners in each division will receive 100 points. Second place winners will receive 80 points. Third place winners will receive 60 points. Fourth place winners will receive 40 points. All finalists (any place after fourth place) will receive 10 points. The competitor with the most points at the end of the season will be recognized as the Elite Federation Of Grapplers champion! There will be four places recognized in each division. First place E.F.G. year ending champions will receive a championship belt. Second and third place E.F.G. year ending champions will receive trophies. All competitors begin to receive points after the first tournament that they compete in.

1st place=100 points
2nd place=80 points
3rd place=60 points

The Elite Federation Of Grapplers will host four tournaments on the circuit for the 2009 season. Competitors must compete in AT LEAST two tournaments on the circuit in order to qualify to win an E.F.G. Year Ending Championship. The tournaments are tenatively scheduled for the months of March, June, September, and December.
The points for each place will be the same as the 2008 season. This year, only three places will be recognized in each division. First place E.F.G. year ending champions will receive customized trophies. Second and third place E.F.G. year ending champions will receive customized plaques. All competitors begin to receive points after the first tournament that they compete in.
