Elite Federation Of Grapplers

The Elite Federation Of Grapplers hosted it's fourth event of the 2009 season on Saturday December 5, 2009.  This was the Elite Federation Of Grapplers second finals, and boy was it intense!!!  The kids division kicked things off and set the pace for the 2009 finals with excellent jiu-jitsu technique being displayed in each division!  The women were up next to battle for those final points of the 2009 season.  The ladies really came out and represented at this event with one of the biggest turnouts in 2009.  The guys were up next and ready to continue their winning ways.  The men fought hard and kept the competition fierce and intense as they battled to secure their championship spots on the circuit!  Last but not least was the much anticipated first ever Country vs. Country Team Challenge!  Team U.S.A. and Team Canada battled it out in a 18 man team challenge.  Each country had 9 youth/teens and 9 adults representing their country, and it was exciting to say the least.  Both teams represented their country well.  The team challenge ended in a draw forcing an additional coin toss which favored the Canadians.  They sent out their fighter and the United States sent out theirs and the two representatives fought their heart out.  The end result was in favor of Canada which gave them the win and made them the first ever Team Grappling champions.  This was an all out war from start to finish!  The most exciting event of 2009!!!

HERE ARE THE RESULTS FROM THE DECEMBER 5, 2009 TOURNAMENT.  PLEASE BE ADVISED, THE RESULTS THAT ARE LISTED BELOW WILL NOT BE CONSISTENT WITH THE POINT STANDING FOR THE E.F.G. CIRCUIT.  IF YOUR DIVISION WAS COMBINED, THEN YOU WILL BE SEPERATED TO YOUR APPROPRIATE DIVISION/WEIGHT CLASS AND WILL RECEIVE POINTS ACCORDINGLY.
